If America knows one thing about a Dunkin’, it’s that America Runs on Dunkin’ … coffee and donuts and breakfast sandwiches. But espresso? Not so much. So when Dunkin’ chose Portland, ME as one of its launch markets for their new handcrafted espresso product, we knew we were going to have to make believers out of skeptics. In a single espresso-fueled day, we transformed a vacant retail space in the heart of Portland into a fictitious pop-up espresso bar called s!p and invited espresso connoisseurs and passers-by alike to give our espresso a shot. The kicker? We didn’t tell them it was Dunkin’ until after they’d already vouched for its deliciousness.
