Over 20 million people watch HBO. As HBO’s Vice President of Digital Initiatives, Mary has had one of the best seats in the house for the last 15 years. She and her staff of 35 transformed HBO.com into a marketing powerhouse, growing monthly users from 500,000 to over 5 million. Her efforts won the hearts and minds of both HBO employees and viewers. They also won her the first ever Emmy Award for Interactive TV Programming.
The lure of a small northeastern city filled with great restaurants and culture where her daughter could ride her bike to school and her son could walk out the door and kick a soccer ball in the yard attracted Mary and her husband, Philip, to Portland.
